You’ve been seeing celebrities on red carpets wearing some extra fabric around their waist. You’re probably staring at it with mixed feeling, it’s attractive in a weird way. Well that little bunched up fabric at the waist line is called a peplum and I’m sure you’ve seen it before on the edges of blazers and jackets. Recently, when the trend came in this year, it’s just gotten more exaggerated and been popping up on dresses and skirts. It’s been featured on the runway from the fall of 2011, through Spring/Summer of 2012 and is expected to reappear when the colder months come in. Keep reading for pictures of the runway, peplum dresses on celebs, and what peplum pieces you could add to your wardrobe to spice up your look… Continue reading
In everyday fashion, many of us choose to pick many pieces and put them together to make a complete outfit. However, it’s important to remember that you don’t need much to look good. What i’m saying is that if you only wear few pieces (ex. shirt, jeans, necklace), you can make your outfit look however you want by pairing the correct pieces together. Don’t believe me? Take a look at Miranda Cosgrove’s premier outfit. Although she only has four major pieces, her whole outfit looked gorgeous and acceptable for a premier of a major movie. Keep reading to see how she paired her different pieces, and read how you can get this look without spending too much money!
You guys have hard me say over and over and over again, how bright pops of color are very in this season. Well, clearly Victoria Justice knows this as she rocked a gorgeous outfit at the MTV Movie Awards this year. If you notice, the yellow skirt adds a nice bright color to an otherwise neutral outfit. She matched the skirt with a white top, and black accessories. She’s put it together very carefully, so that instead of turning out to look like a bumblebee, she gives off a very effortless but pretty appearance. It’s very casual, and makes her seem down to earth. One thing I really like about this look, is that it’s so easy for anyone to pull off! The pieces she used are flattering on any body type, because she brings everything together with a big black belt, making the waist seem smaller. The black heels elongate the legs, and the asymmetric top is good for people who are conscious about broad shoulders, or for those who don’t like to wear strapless, and you can keep cool in it. I’ve put together a very similar outfit, for probably a much cheaper price, so you can wear this gorgeous outfit this summer! Keep reading for this look 4 less… Continue reading
#armcandy, #armparty, you’ve seen it all on twitter, instagram, and facebook. Stacking jewelry on your arm is one of the recent trends to hit the female population. You can stack bracelets, wraps, watches, bangles, cuffs, basically anything that goes on your arm. It’s bright and colorful, and there’s virtually no rules at all! The bracelets don’t necessarily need to match, so you can wear a silver watch with a gold chain bracelet and a hot pink wrap around and you’re hosting a party on your arm (that sounds so silly!). All the different colors and patterns are put together to create one giant (or small) splash of color to your outfit. So let’s add a little #armcandy to #bubbly… Continue reading

When I’m on a flight or in an airport, I like my outfit to be as casual and comfortable as possible. I have heard and seen that most people prefer to wear a casual outfit during a plane ride. However, it’s important to remember not to look too sloppy in the flight, because you never know who’s looking at you! I love the casual pieces Demi Lovato picked to wear in LAX, and I think it’s the perfect blend of casual, comfortable, and cute. Keep reading to see how I recreated her look!
Lace was definitely a trend all over the runways for this spring and summer. Lace dresses, lace shoes, lace shorts are all in, and I’m absolutely loving it! This trend is initially inspired by Kate Middleton’s wedding dress (from the oh-so popular Royal Wedding in 2011), and the numerous other lace pieces the prince’s bride has worn. Now it’s the in-pattern (or texture) of the summer! I mean, who doesn’t want to follow in royalty’s footsteps! Keep Reading for pictures, lace clothing pieces and more…
I’m going to get straight to the point. Everyone knows that the color mint is one of the most popular colors this season and in style for spring and summer. Personally, I think mint is a very beautiful color, but surprisingly for some it can be a little hard to work with.
